had its debut event, hosted by Lamar University, College of
Business, Beaumont, Texas. The keynote speaker Ivan Wood,
attorney for Strasburger & Price, LLP from Houston presented
timely advice on “Anti-Kickback and Stark: Overview and
Recent Developments”.

ACHE - SouthEastTexasChapter has been awarded the 2008 ACHE Chapter
of Distinction Award at the recent 2009 ACHE Congress (March 22-26).
Recipients receive this award when they are a fully chartered member
of ACHE and meet or exceed at least two of the three annual
performance standards set by ACHE. Your chapter excelled in
